Scholarships:
In 2025, we relied on the generosity of our families who donated over $4000 during Fall registration to cover 80% of the 30 scholarships we offered to our club members. We hope to continue to offer as many scholarships as needed through your generosity and prevent turning away players for financial reasons.

Why is the player registration fee going up this Fall 2026?
The 40% increase in Seattle Parks soccer field rental fee in 2026 adds up to $20-25/player. McGilvra Soccer Club Board  decided to raise the registration fee by $10 this Fall and rely on donations, fundraisers, and sponsorship from local businesses to cover the remaining $10-15/player (~$9000 total for our 650 players). Our intent is to explore all avenues possible to keep the registration fee as low as possible.

How can I donate or fundraise?
1. Consider making a donation during the player registration check-out process.
2. Donate directly on our Givebutter donation platform.
3. Check if your employer offers volunteer hours donation matches. If you work at Microsoft and coach a soccer team, you can submit your volunteer coaching time to raise $$$ for our club.
